Jelly (agar agar)

I adore jelly, it has become the ideal choice to me when it comes to birthday or special occasions. Remember the jelly our mother made when we were kids? When our mon took out the big round pan from the fridge and cut nto samll pieces, as children, we could not help but reach out and put a piece to our mouth.

Nowadays jelly has become very creative in terms of preperation and presentation. Making jelly can be easy, but it requires patience, perseverance and a lot of thought must be put into it. The most important thing is to prepare it with a happy mood. Believe me or not, try it out to enjoy the delightful process yourself.

Taste from H O M E

Recently Evelyn shown me some tempting food cooked by YL in Paris. I do not know how much time he spent on cooking, but I was amazed by his culinary skill. I guess he has cooked according to his own taste buds and craving. I am sure everyone enjoyed and love his cooking, as I can see that his secret recipes come from the heart.

Cooking is easy if you know how to take ingredients and make them taste as good as possible..... so, just get into the kitchen and try to be creative using imagination. You do not need anything grand, just something simple and you will be able to prepare mouth- watering dishes with confidence.

M o t h e r s

Being a mother of three wonderful children, I would like to share the experience of becoming a mother and what I look forward to on Mother's Day.

Becoming a mother for three children was an amazing experience I will never forget, I love having them around and they are most precious to me, what I enjoyed most were the days when I bathe and change them. The best thing about me being a mom was the complete devotion and the love I enjoyed from them.

Today seeing them grown-up and become successful persons, It doesn't matter where they are, as long as everyone is happy and healthy and not forgetting their continue support and care to the family member.

To me, on Mother's Day it doesn't really matter to eat in or out OR to buy precious gifts, as long as we are together, even staying home with a piece of cake will be nice. (Pictures make great gifts too. I have idea of many happenings. A big Thank to Joanne for the great gifts from 3 fireflies.)...........!! A Very Happy Mother's Day to all my family members, friends and relatives.

an early Birthday

I can't believe is a week now since our last gathering in Telok Intan and Cameron Highlands. Aunt Irene entertained us in her comfort cottage home. Organic steamboat were served for dinner. We went home after dinner.

Susanne bought a cheese birthday cake from Telok Intan, so we kinda had this early birthday celeberation for Aunt Irene two weeks earlier. I am sure everyone enjoyed the night with precious memories of one so dear.

just like yesterday......!

March 17th 2012 was a proud and happy day for our eldest brother Mr.&Mrs. Roger Yong to host a party on the arrival of their grandchild. Dream come true finally..........!! Congratulation Koko and Tai Soh.

MY KOREA TRIP- on March 19th I had a 9 days trip to Korea, I enjoyed the trip very much, this is the first time in my life I experenced snow keep falling on my head. Will treasure the good moments.....Maybe it is what, that is left with me.......!!
